Overview

A simple and emotionally reserved young woman struggles to express her feelings, but after accepting a sincere boy’s proposal, her world falls apart when her mother rejects the relationship because of their class differences, and seeing her daughter silently suffer after the breakup leaves the mother torn between social status and her child’s happiness.
